“সফলতার সাথে সমাজের সম্পর্ক রয়েছে। আমি একা এই দুনিয়ায় বাস করি না। আমি নিজেকে তখনই সফল মনে করি, যখন প্রাণ, প্রকৃতি, মানুষের জন্য যা দরকার, এই পৃথিবীর টিকে থাকার জন্য যা দরকার, সেগুলোর পক্ষে থাকি। সেগুলোর বিরুদ্ধে যারা কাজ করে তাঁদের বিরুদ্ধে দাঁড়াই। সত্যি যেটা নয়, যেটা মিথ্যা, সেটার বিরুদ্ধে দাঁড়াই। অন্যায্য কথার বিপরীতে
যখন একটা ন্যায্য কথা প্রতিষ্ঠা করতে পারি,
সফলতার সংজ্ঞা আমার কাছে সেটাই। ….

যেদিন আমরা আমাদের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলোকে শিক্ষার্থীবান্ধব, জ্ঞানবান্ধব করে তুলতে পারবো,
সেদিন আমরা বলবো যে আমরা সফল হয়েছি।”
